Dadar literally means "pancake" while Gulung means "rolls" (to roll), a thin layer delicate pancake made of Pandan flavored batter and then filled with the sweet. Dadar gulung is a traditional Indonesian dessert consisting of a thin rice flour crêpe that is filled with grated coconut. Pancake batter is traditionally infused with pandan leaves which add flavor and impart a vibrant green color to the pancakes, but modern varieties often employ green food coloring instead.
Bahan Membuat DADAR GULUNG (ROLLED PANCAKE)
- 200 gr tepung terigu.
- 1/2 sdm pasta pandan (secukupnya).
- 1/2 sdt garam.
- 1/2 sdt baking powder.
- 1 bungkus santan kara.
- 500 ml air.
- Bahan Isian.
- 1/2 kelapa parut.
- 3 butir gula merah (sesuai selera).
- 100 ml air (secukupnya).
- 1 lembar daun pandan.
Langkah Memasak DADAR GULUNG (ROLLED PANCAKE)
- Untuk pembuatan isiannya : larutkan gula merah yang sudah di potong-potong pada 100ml air, lalu masukan kelapa parut dan daun pandan, aduk merata hingga kering..
- Untuk kulitnya : terlebih dahulu larutkan pasta pandan pada air (aduk sampai merata), Lalu siapkan tempat dan campurkan semua bahan, tuangkan pasta pandan yang sudah dicairkan sedikit demi sedikit dan aduk sampai merata, lalu saring terlebih dahulu sebelum adonan di dadarkan..
- Tips supaya tidak lengket : gunakan api sedang, pastikan pan sudah panas, dan pastikan pengolesan minyak merata supaya tidak lengket. (Disini saya menggunakan kuali bukan pan / teflon).
